Meteorologist and storm chaster Matt Hughes had passed away back in May, but fans of the ‘Storm Chaser’ television series just learned of his death on yesterday’s episode of the show.
The 33 year old died on May 26 in Wichita, Kansas. The cause of Hughes’ death has not yet been discussed with the public, only to say that it was not related to storm chasing. Some reports say that Hughes had been dealing with mounting emotional problems during the few months before his death. There is only speculation and rumor that he died after a suicide attempt.
Last night’s episode of the popular series was dedicated to his memory.
